Programs also help Tennesseans protect the environment and improve the management, marketing, and use of natural resources. For more detailed information about these programs provided in your area please contact the County Extension Office.

Beef Cattle Programs

Programs involving beef cattle are provided in breeding and genetics, reproduction, nutrition and forage utilization, production and management and marketing. You can call the office to learn more about the available Beef Cattle Programs: Advanced Master Beef Producer (AMBP) certification and Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certification or to prepare for the Tennessee Ag Enhancement Program (TAEP)

If you would like to be notified of upcoming Master Gardener classes, please contact our office to be added to the mailing list.

Commercial Pesticide Applicator

To remain certified to use commercial pesticides, individuals must participate in qualifying points eligible programs.  Our office periodically offers training and programs for individuals to receive these recertification points.  If you would like to be notified about upcoming points programs, please contact our office.

UT Extension Master Gardener Program

The Master Gardener Program consists of trained volunteers that assist UT Extension staff by sharing research-based information with the general public to improve community garden/landscape programs and activities.
